Volunteer Guiding at Gunsgreen is an opportunity to engage with the general public and share with them the history of Gunsgreen House and its many occupants over the years. It can be a very rewarding experience. Gunsgreen's visitors are from all age groups and all backgrounds. Gunsgreen also take group tours. The house does not have a "typical" visitor but it is very popular with families with young children. The top two floors are used as self-catering accommodation and are only accessible when they are vacant.

A new guide would usually work alongside and experienced guide until they become confident to take on a guiding slot of their own.
