The Gala Men's Shed and Pupils from local Gala Schools have collectively produced around 250 Face Visors last week. Following government guidelines the sanitising process will end on Monday 20th April and they will be available for collection or distribution locally.gala shed masks

Should you work in any part of the Care Sector, or NHS, a Care home a health visitor or are a Key worker or anyone you know who may need a face Visor, please get in contact Ross Hall, Men's Shed Development Worker here or through Volunteer Centre Borders contact page here

These visors are free but, as Gala Men's Shed is a small charity we are asking you donate at least a pound per visor which will help to cover the cost of the raw materials. We are also particularly short of 12mm elastic tape and foam (e.g. jumbo car wash sponges) so if you have any unused materials or have access to any stores of it, any donations would be gratefully accepted.

The Gala Men's Shed is located at the portocabin type building at the end of Marigold Drive in Gala. We are working with TD1 Youth Hub in Ladhope Vale, Galashiels to help with distribution.
