The Duke of Buccleuch thanks Volunteers

Duke of B

The Duke of Buccleuch, to mark the end of our 2020 Volunteers’ Week and to recognise the challenges the Third Sector is currently facing, says thank you to volunteers, individuals and organisations, for their tremendous kindness and dedication to helping others.

The team here at Volunteer Centre Borders would like to say a huge "thank you" to all volunteers and organisations. The last few months have been challenging, but have also shown the kindness and strength that communities have by going above and beyond to help each other. From the smallest to the tallest, youngest to the oldest VCB team member, we want to say we love you all!our thank you collage for web

Lets Appreciate Volunteering Zoom event invite

On Wednesday we had an online gathering of about 25 people - Volunteers, Organisations and VCB staff. It was a huge success and everyone agreed that it was so useful, positive and informative, that we want to do it all again in a month or so. We'd particularly like to talk about volunteering & post lockdown recovery!
